DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY
                              
                              The department of Botany offers the Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) and Masters
                              of Science (M.Sc.) courses which is in affiliation with Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
                              The Master’s programme was introduced in 2017. Since its inception, faculty members of the
                              department have been involved in teaching and mentoring students. They are highly experienced
                              and adept at teaching and training students. The department focuses on teaching-learning and
                              appropriately combines classical teaching with innovative digital teaching tools to augment
                              students’ understanding of the subjects. Regular field visits are organized by the department to
                              create expertise in exploration, identification and evaluation of flora. The department thrives to
                              reach standards of excellence in teaching and learning.
